The Record Club from Driver 8 Records

The Record Club is a great way to grow your collection while also getting introduced to new, and new to you, albums. Part of The Record Club is about records, part of it is about community. Here’s how it works: every other month we’ll send you a record, or have it for you to pick up, and on the months we don’t have a record we’ll host a hang out with our friends at Wobble HiFi. Here is a chance to explore some new music and meet some like-minded record people.

Of course, we know you’re wondering what the records will be. Charles and Justin and any future employees at D8R will pick each record with the idea of selecting something that you might not discover on your own. We are not going to go crazy and pick totally abstract, off the deep end records that no one really likes. We are going to select records that we think the members of the club will enjoy. If a record doesn’t click with you on the first spin, spin it again and see what happens. We plan to cover multiple genres and select new reissues of hidden gems and choice new releases.

The cost is $175, for six records over twelve months if you pick the records up at our store. If you want us to ship the records the cost is $200.

In addition to the six records and the six hangouts you’ll also get 15% off any purchase when you pick up your Record Club record. We’ll also be on the lookout for other incentives for members, in town and out of town, like concert tickets, t-shirts and other goodies.
